Marlife...a year later

It’s unbelievable to see how time flies, especially when you are having fun. I created Marlife 18th of March, 2014, and I never thought the response was going to be so great. I am humbly touched by the way people have supported this adventure - which in turn is giving me so much emotional reward.

The idea of creating my blog was born one afternoon when I was having a shower and I said to myself that I should start writing about my life experiences and share them with the world. I couldn’t have thought of a better title than ‘Marlife’, a pun on Marlon’s life.

Social media has played and amazing role in communicating my thoughts, feelings, emotions and ideas. It has created a network of readers spread amongst all corners of the world.  I was extremely impressed when I began to receive messages and comments in the likes of Australia, Germany, UK, USA, Canada, Spain and Venezuela.

I can honestly say that the reason why people have responded in such a good way to my writing is because the sincerity of words. Everything I write comes from the heart, and if it in any way influences people’s outlook in life, I have achieved more than I could have ever imagined. It is that kind of reaction which truly drives my inspiration to continue blogging.

In the process, I created Marlife's promotional card and vest - which has used to draw attention to my blog. It is a funny way to invite people to have a look at what I am saying through my writing.

The whole experience has been a good one and I couldn't be happier.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for your kind support and I honestly mean it when I say that you, the readers,  are the reason why Marlife is still alive.
