Marlife - Over 27 Thousands Views Later

I published my very first blog the 18 of March, 2014
 under the title "Welcome to Marlife" and the reaction was very good, so exciting to say the least.

I began my journey as a blogger by recounting and telling people some of my life stories. I wanted to give people a real flavour of who I am, where I am from and what I am about. I wanted people to know I am an open book. I wanted people to know that when it comes to me, I can honestly say what you see is what you get.

Some people get me, some people don't, and that's fine. I can live with that because for me is supremely hard to pretend to be someone or something I am not.

So, yes, you can say I began Marlife as a platform to talk about my life.

I am very grateful to all those, my readers and curious people, who have given me the opportunity to share with you what I have to say about life and love and so many other things. Thank you!

Social Media has been a fantastic way to promote my blog. Every time I check my analytics, I get very excited to see I have readers in Australia, The USA, Venezuela, Canada, England, Germany, Spain and of course Ireland. This in itself is a huge motivation to keep going.

I am a people's person - I love people that's why...

To me, every reader count. To me, every click, comment, every reaction in any shape or form is very very meaningful because I am just a normal guy who is very passionate and sincere and honest and I am somebody who loves writing so so much.

At the time of writing this blog, Marlife has been so far viewed 27,590 times and to me this is a big deal.

I recently was told that somebody made a comment saying they felt Marlife lost its purpose, and I have to agree with that person because I never really had a purpose as such. My only purpose was to let people know who I am through my writing.

Now Marlife is a platform I use to write about anything, to publish any kind of content: jokes, funny stories, real life stories, life experiences etc etc etc. One thing I'd like to confess is that my blog will never ever be serious, all on the contrary, is and will always be emotional, sentimental and, yes, irreverent.

I do write about serious stuff, but all that material can be found on my LinkedIn Author's Wall - which you are more than welcome to check out.
