Expressing gratitude
2016 has been a wonderful year to me. I hope it has been a wonderful one to you, too.
On a personal level, this year has been a revalidation of my happiness. Being happy, expressing it and even sharing it to and with everybody has made me realise, once again, that it is important to never stop being who you are, and never ever be afraid of expressing who you are and how you feel.
That's what emotional intelligence is all about; being able to be aware and in control of our own feelings and emotions and being able to express them proudly.
All of this was present when I married - for the 2nd time - my partner in life, John. We were already Civil Partnered but we decided to upgrade our union to the next level which was marriage. We did it back in March and we had an amazing celebration.
On the on-line world, getting Marlife domain www.marlifeblog.com - which has been helpful for my blog to be more easily found and increased its views - over 42 thousand views thus far. My Birthday confession on Facebook was another reason to celebrate my online presence - which received a staggering over 5 thousand views and was shared 13 times.
As a result, I received so many face-to-face, public and private messages from people kindly telling me how much affected they have been by my messages full of happiness and optimism. Needless to say, I was and still am humbly touched by your confessions ; )
You can watch the confession here: This is a Confession
I would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for your unconditional support this year - both off and online. Thank you for allowing my genuine happiness to touch you & for letting me know how affected you have been by it.
Thank you for sincerely being open to what I have to offer as a person and online being.
Thank you, thank you for being there for me!
Your support means the world to me. Cheers and let's continue being SUPREMELY HAPPY in 2017.
Marlon/Marlife
