First of all, Happy Valentine's Day!
I recently had a conversation with someone who is going through a hard time due to splitting up with their partner. As they were telling how they felt about it, I could sense their pain and I truly felt (still feel) sorry for that person.
After listening to their plight, I gave them some comforting words - which I would like to share with anyone who is going through a similar situation.
Give yourself time. Time is a healer, I'm a believer. If you feel like crying, just cry. If you feel talking to someone to tell them how you feel, just do it. It is OK to be heartbroken, it's normal to feel your heart is stapled to the ground, but as Leona Lewis says in her song 'Better in time': 'It'll get better in time'.
At the end of our chat, I dedicated them the song and I would like to dedicate it to you, too...
But before I would like to say Thank you to that person (you know who you are) for trying to find some sort of solace by telling me about the pain in your poor little heart!
